Abstract
An efficient market will see the company's performance, one of which is through an increase in company value, a high company value is able to attract investors to invest their capital. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of intellectual capital and good corporate governance on firm value in companies listed on the Corporate Governance Perception Index (CGPI) from 2014 to 2018. With a population of 45 companies. The sampling technique was purposive sampling method, and produced 9 companies that met the criteria, so that 45 observations were obtained. This research is included in the explanatory category with a quantitative approach. The test results show that intellectual capital has a positive effect on firm value and good corporate governance has a positive effect on firm value. The results of this study can be input for management to manage intellectual capital owned by the company independently effective and efficient as well as encouraging the implementation of GCG as a whole. For investors, the findings are expected to be able to help assess the company's performance and can be used as consideration for investing in companies listed in CGPI.
